Bridgerton spoilers and updates tease that fans of the Bridgerton series will be thrilled at the news that was revealed by the star of the show, Luke Newton. In a post on his Instagram page on the 14th of March, Luke uploaded a scene from the shooting of season two of the series.
Bridgerton Spoilers – Series Filming Taking Place In London
In the video shared on the social media platform, Luke shows him playing his role of the youngest of the Bridgerton brothers, Colin, as the shooting of the series takes place in London. In the first photo, Luke is pictured on the back of a horse with his onscreen sibling and fellow Bridgerton star, Jonathan Bailey. Another photo shows Jonathan, who plays the role of Lord Anthony Bridgerton, in a cheeky look with another star of the series, Luke Thompson, who plays the other Bridgerton brother, Benedict.
The Instagram post also features a short black and white video of the 24-year-old star in a chat with his fellow 32-year-old star, Jonathan.
The Positive Vibes Coming From The Series
The first season of the Bridgerton series premiered on Netflix in December last year, receiving positive reviews from viewers and reviewers at the same time. The series became the most live-streamed show on the internet, breaking viewership records in January this year. A great achievement for a series that just started last December.
Cast member Regé-Jean Page, who plays the character Simon Basset, said the show has had a positive influence on viewers as they are able to connect socially, physically, and emotionally regardless of the need to imbibe social distance rules during this coronavirus pandemic. He shared the impact of the Bridgerton series on the populace as a guest on The Drew Barrymore show last January.
Bridgerton Updates – Positive Review Of Jonathan’s Acting
The Bridgerton series was renewed for season two on the 21st of January this year. The first season revolved around the romance between Simon and Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor. This second season will focus more on the romantic side of the character played by Jonathan, Lord Anthony Bridgerton.
Jonathan promised that season two will thrill viewers to no end, as it will be full of lots of excitement, with the stars of the show themselves excited to continue with the Bridgerton story.
The actor who came out as gay a while back admitted to a tabloid on the 11th of March that there has been no negative criticism of him playing the role of Lord Anthony, who is a straight guy on the series. According to him, with the Internet been viewed as a place where anything is said without thinking, it has been mostly positive reviews of his character from the internet. He disclosed that he looks forward to the day when gay actors could take up roles of gay characters but that he has had no issues playing the role of a straight guy on film sets.
