Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Update Fans On Archie Harrison’s Milestones

He’s certainly growing up and for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they are lucky enough to watch him with each new step he makes. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently updated fans on their son Archie Harrison and all of the milestones that he has achieved these last few months. Here’s what they have to say.

During a virtual chat with Malala Yousafzai to help commemorate the International Day of the Girl, the young activist asked the proud royal parents about their one-year-old son Archie and some of the things they have been doing as a family while in quarantine.

“How are you spending your time in COVID?” Yousafzai said, to which Harry, 36, quipped, “On Zoom!”

Meghan added that outside of all the virtual calls they have been making in an effort to help support many charities that are near and dear to their heart, they’ve enjoyed watching Archie take his first steps at home.

“We were both there for his first steps, his first run, his first fall, his first everything,” Harry said.

Meghan also added that she and her husband Harry feel very fortunate to spend so much quality time with their young son. If it weren’t for the coronavirus quarantine, there’s a good chance that Harry and Meghan, like so many other working parents, would be stuck tending to their obligations. But because they are now working mostly from home, they can spend more time as a family of three.

“It’s just fantastic, because I think in so many ways, we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow and in the absence of COVID, we would be traveling and working more externally and we’d miss a lot of those moments,” the former Suits star explained. “It’s been a lot of really good family time.”
