Rachel McAdams Opens Up About Motherhood For The First Time

Rachel McAdams has opened up about her new role as a mom for the very first time. The Hollywood actress gave birth to a baby boy earlier this year but has kept a relatively low profile. She hasn’t even revealed the name of her baby to the public, nor has she shared any photos of her little bundle of joy. But with that being said though, the stunning beauty admits that her son is “the greatest thing” that has ever happened to her.

In a new interview with Britain’s The Sunday Times, Rachel talked about her experience of being a first-time mom so far. And it looks like Rachel is enjoying every moment she gets to have with her son.

The 40-year-old actress told the publication,

“It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down. People say your life is not your own anymore, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.”

What’s more, Rachel says that even though she waited until her late thirties to have a baby, she doesn’t regret her decision at all. She added,

“I waited a long time for motherhood. It’s just how it happened. And I didn’t want to do it before it was the right time. I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn’t. But I’m having more fun being a mom than I’ve ever had. Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me. Even the though days – there’s something delightful about them.”
