Make Memories in the Kitchen This Summer Without Baking!
The summer is perfect for spending time outside with your kids. There’s an endless list of things to do like, gardening, biking, swimming and more. My daughter and I spend less time inside, but when we do we still like to take part in one our favorite activities to do together all-year long – making delicious snacks in our kitchen.
Our kitchen habits change in the summer though. The last thing I want to do is make a recipe that requires us to bake something in the oven for a long period of time. It’s already hot enough in our house in the summer! One of our favourite snacks to make is Peanut Butter Snack Bites. The snack bites are easy-to-make together and require no baking!
My three-year-old had loads of fun making our Mixed Berry Banana Peanut Butter Snack Bites, just last month. I still have memories of how excited she was to customize the snack bites with her favourite ingredients. We headed to the grocery store and picked out dried berries and banana Greek yogurt. At first, I was a bit hesitant about the Greek yogurt, but the ingredient ended up giving the snack bites a nice hint of banana.
Peanut Butter Snack Bites are versatile and easily customizable. Since making our own recipe, I searched the Kraft Canada’s Stick Together website for more snack bites to make this summer. One of my favourite recipes is the Honey and Pistachio-Peanut Butter Snack Bites.

I think the addition of Pistachios is really neat. My dads would have loved these!
This recipe is perfect for me because I don’t have a lot of time to cook or prepare dishes. I still want my family to enjoy delicious meals, though…
