Jessica Alba Wore a Double Corset To Lose Baby Weight
Did you ever wonder how Jessica Alba lost the baby weight so fast after giving birth to each of her daughters? Lets just say her slim-down trick isn’t exactly easy!
“I wore a double corset day and night for three months,” the mom to daughters Haven and Honor tells Net-a-Porter. “It was sweaty, but worth it.” Calling her weight loss method “brutal,” Alba adds that “it’s not for everyone.”
Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney Kardashian and Jennifer Garner have all been rumored to sport the tight-fitting tops after delivering their children.
“The concept behind abdominal binders is very common after surgery and after the delivery of a baby to help support abdominal muscles, help with posture and reduce the feeling of bloating,” said Dr. Jennifer Ashton to ABC News.
Meanwhile, The Honest Company founder who married husband Cash Warren in 2008, admits their busy careers and the responsibilities of parenthood forced them to put their relationship on the back burner.
“It was our first trip in six years that wasn’t a work trip,” Alba says. “I didn’t realize how important it was until we got home and I was like ‘We like each other! We really are best friends.’”
“I knew we were rooting for each other every day and we’d made these two people who are my favorite things on the planet, but having that time just us, it was cool to connect. We both chose the right person.”
Alba will appear in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, later this year.
desperate times call for desperate measures.
She runs around screaming healthy baby, healthy lifestyle blah blah blah and then she’s dumb enough to believe sweating with a tight binding corset on is going to make her skinnier? I seriously hope she issues an intelligent statement saying she DID NOT and would not promote or try something that stupid.
can i get this corset in my size?
LOL more likely she headed to her friendly plastic surgeon and got a tummy tuck!
What a total and utter nutjob.
Yep, she’s an idiot for admitting it if she really did do it.
