Jennifer Lopez is taking the twins on tour

Jennifer Lopez is taking the twins on tour 0503Jennifer Lopez just announced her “historic” 20 city international tour with Enrique Iglesias for this summer and says she has no intention of leaving her adorable twins, Max David and Emme Maribel at home. This will be the first tour for the four-year-olds.

“I don’t know how that’s all going to work. This is my first time. I’m going to see,” Lopez told reporters during her Mega 2012 Tour press conference in Los Angeles on Monday. “They’ll get on the bus with me and it’ll be a learning experience for both of us.”

But Lopez confessed that she has a backup plan for the kids if the road gets too tough on them. “Luckily, there’s always Grandma’s house if they get really tired and stir-crazy,” she continued. “They can go with their grandma for a few days and then come back. I can’t be away from them for too long, so they’ll be with me most of the time.”

No word on what ex husband, Marc Anthony, has to say about the arrangements. The couple called it quits in April after seven years together. Lopez’s current boyfriend, backup dancer Casper Smart, will no doubt be with her every step of the way on the tour which might not make Anthony too excited. There have been multitudes of pics showing Casper getting chummy with Lopez and Anthony’s kids and even rumors that they called him “Daddy”.

Despite that, Lopez has reaffirmed that she and Anthony will always work together when it comes to their children. “For the most part, I feel very proud of the way we’re handling it. I really do. We are doing the best we can for the kids,” she said in March.

What do you think? Are the twins too young to go on tour or do you think they should always be where their mother is?
