The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Hits Katie Hard – Face Slap Creates LA Earthquake
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) raised her right hand and slapped her youngest sister’s left cheek so hard that tears began streaming down Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) face.
That specific event topped all other sibling tension and created an earthquake, with reverberations felt across this version of Los Angeles, California.
Brooke believes that Katie is the cause of all the problems the Logan family has faced in recent months. Brooke also believes that she is the matriarch of the family, and on that point, she’s right.
Katie has always known that Brooke looked down on her. But she never expected her oldest sister to be so begrudge her attempt to have a career that went beyond Forrester Creations. And so set this throwback arc that pits factions of B&B’s three prominent families against each other.
Forrester Creations On Top Forever
Getting to the top took many years. Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his wife, the late Stephanie Forrester Finnegan (Susan Flannery), made that happen. Not Brooke and not Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). They’ve benefited from what the co-founders created through sheer force of their combined wills.
Katie enjoyed working at FC. She did a solid job promoting the fashion house across the globe, and while Katie wasn’t promoted as one of its stars, that wasn’t expected.
Working behind the scenes to promote FC’s products and its prominent faces, including Brooke’s, was what Katie excelled at. She was satisfied, if not fulfilled, until Ridge sidelined her in recent months.
Logan’s Goal Isn’t To Carve A Niche But To Dominate
Katie told Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that she didn’t want him to bury his sword necklace but to wear it again. She recognized that element was part of his persona, and she embraced it in modern times.
That was a telling reveal because Katie also meant that she brandishes a sword-type personality as well. Pointing her finger at Brooke, with one of Tom’s better reaction shots offered in many years, meant that the game that was already on has advanced to a much higher level.
Bill sees Logan as surpassing FC, not satisfying for whatever the iconic rag house drops. He wants to crush the loathed Forresters, and Katie’s now more motivated than ever to deliver.
Just A Little Hope Logan Spencer
What a great line Tom delivered when telling Lang’s character that all she needed was a little hope. As viewers knew, that was a slicing, inside joke.
Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) has already defected to Logan. The ink on that contract Bill had drawn up was drying while her mother was physically assaulting Katie in FC’s executive suite.
Of course, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) recently punched RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti). So, Brooke proved that she can give a sucker punch as well in the form of a slap across Katie’s face.
But Brooke will feel Katie’s return punch when it’s revealed that Hope is working for Logan and plans to use the name, Hope Logan.
