The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Matt’s Redemption Changes Everything As Victor Gains A Powerful New Ally

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has confirmed to the most aggressive source that he does, in fact, have amnesia. Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) blistering confrontation with him in the exercise room at the Newman Ranch proved it.
Nick’s hands were beaten raw but that’s because he worked Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) famous punching bag. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and a fading Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) were relieved.
Matt desperately wants to reclaim his memory, but also seems to genuinely want to strive for redemption. That type of desperate character has often been exploited by the Moustache through the years.
Noah Newman Seeks To Provoke
Just like his father, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is seeking to provoke Matt in hopes of having him admit to his crimes and be jailed. Viewers might wonder if that makes Noah more like Matt?
But Noah hasn’t veered as far off course as his dad has in recent months. He’s naturally still reeling from being lured nearly to his death, along with his parents and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Thankfully, everyone escaped Matt’s attempt to detonate the abandoned gas station where he intended to kill everyone.
Having contractors create an identical replica of The Shadow Room is, of course, Y&R reusing that cool set that was previously said to be in Los Angeles, California. It will be interesting to see what happens with Noah’s new nightclub as Matt’s storyline is resolved in one way or another. Who knows, Noah might hire him to work there.

Noah Newman Has Himself In Check
Victor said that he’s going to oversee Noah’s rehabilitation plan. That’s good news because Braeden’s character is serious about his son’s recovery and won’t let himself be distracted by outside events as he recently was.
Nick’s overdose might prove to be the chaotic event that saves Matt. Morrow’s character said that he looked in Matt’s eyes and didn’t see the terrible person he and the Newman family have loathed for decades.
But he and Noah want to shock Matt’s memory. They believe he will recall his crimes and, through that acknowledgment, realize legal justice.
Victor Newman Works A New Opportunity
Using broken people, like Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and so many others, is Victor’s forte. So, Matt lines up as someone Victor can use as the summer soon dawns.
Victor intends to pay back Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) probably got a general reprieve because she assisted Matt in saving Nick’s life.
Matt could become a new fixer. Different than Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) because he’s not an attorney and more like a facilitator or new weapon who will do Victor’s bidding because he’s allowed him to live.
The potential for this alliance projects as intriguing and unpredictable soap. Plus, if this happens, then Howarth’s magnificent performances will continue.
