Prince William Fans Gush Over Diana’s Son – Why?

Prince William definitely found some critics over the years, but his fans can’t get over his recent social media post. In fact, they gush, show their love with emojis, and talk about his mom, the late Princess Diana. Read on to find out why.

Prince William and Catherine were not the first ever senior royals to use social media. In fact, per Business Insider, the first account for the royal family on Twitter arrived in 2009 under the handle of @BritishMonarchy. But definitely, Prince William, Catherine, and Prince Harry helped to carry it on.

Did you know that between them, they started more activity in 2014 for the Kensington Palace social media? Of course, a lot of water swept under that bridge since then, but Princess Catherine and Prince William continue with their accounts on Instagram, and on YouTube.

The Post That Got A Lot Of Love

This week, it was on the Instagram account where a lot of love poured in for the oldest son of King Charles and the late Diana. The post didn’t show much hoopla and pageantry. In fact, it showed a photo of William strolling down a road in what looked like a construction site.

In his caption, the Prince of Wales explained what was going on. He wrote:

Three years ago, we set out to take a different approach, to think more carefully about how the Duchy could use its land to create opportunity and support people over the long term, including launching a project here in Cornwall to help tackle homelessness with the right support around it.

Next, he explained how good it felt to see progress happen. “It’s fantastic to come back to Nansledan and to see that beginning to take shape, and to meet some of the people now calling it home,” he said.

Of course, it’s not a completed project yet, and he admitted, “There’s still more to do, but it’s encouraging to see what’s already possible when you bring together the right people, ideas and ambition. W.”

In the comments section, more than one royal family fan described how their kids who had seen him arrive felt so happy because he stopped and spoke with them. But others just wanted to tell Prince William how much they appreciate his vision and leadership qualities.
