Missing Or Dead US Scientists: Is History Repeating The Marconi Mystery?
Checking out the parallels between recent US aerospace disappearances and the 1980s GEC-Marconi mystery deaths.

Missing or dead US scientists trend across social media right now as the House Oversight Committee and the FBI launch investigations into at least 10 recent cases. Most of them worked on high-level aerospace and nuclear programs. While federal agents currently look into it, many followers of unexplained mysteries saw this sort of thing play out before. Read on to find out more.
New Cases & 1980s Similarities
When TMZ reported that the families of the current investigation don’t believe there’s a pattern or any government conspiracy, some folks agreed that if their loved ones disappeared or died, like anti-gravity expert, Amy Eskridge, they’d also say as little as possible. In the comments of that post, a follower talked about missing folks from the 1980s, and there’s definitely an interesting parallel.

Long before the current mystery of missing or dead US Scientists, the 1980s brought similar events in the UK. Over 20 experts said to work for GEC-Marconi or Plessey Defence Systems died under odd circumstances. Of course, the internet didn’t exist for the public back then, and that might be why you haven’t heard about it.
Questionable Deaths In The UK
Just like today, those historic scientists worked on cutting-edge tech like satellite technology. Plus, others were involved in the “Star Wars” Strategic Defense Initiative. Often, officials used the word “suicide” to explain the deaths. However, many folks didn’t buy into that.
The Newslog Cyberjournal reported about nearly a hundred complex deaths, and they included Arshad Sharif, an engineer who took his own life. Apparently, he tied a rope to a tree, looped the other end over his neck and then accelerated away in his car. However, there seemed to be no reason for it with his promising career.
Then, Vimal Dajibhai, a computer expert working with Marconi, was connected to testing control systems for Tigerfish and Stingray torpedoes in Hertfordshire. These days, skeptics might go “hmm.” Apparently, he fell from a bridge, but a puncture wound that seemed suspiciously like an injection was written off as impact damage. And, he drove about a hundred miles to get to the bridge.
Tons Of Skeptics
While it seems that the White House and FBI take the more recent US cases seriously, many skeptics doubt anything will really happen. That’s because conspiracy theories abound. And many of them are fueled by the older reports like Peter Peapell who died in 1987.
He was an engineer working on “testing titanium for its resistance to explosives and the use of computer analysis of signals from metals” and died from carbon monoxide poisoning. However, the position of his body in his Oxfordshire garage seemed inexplicable.
Potentially, the strange deaths in the UK were a complete anomaly. But of course, with similarities to modern missing or dead US scientists, many folks believe something is up. When Pandox on YouTube examined 20 of the GEC-Marconi or Plessey Defence Systems deaths, folks in the comments couldn’t help but buy into some sort of bizarre government cover-up.

In the comments section, one person opined, “Well I guess the moral of the story is do not take the government contract.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- I will not be applying for a job at Marconi. Or any defense contractor. Again…DEAD END JOBS.
- Dead men tell no tales. Seems obvious the scientists served their purpose and they didn’t want the tech and secrets getting out.
- I remember a mathematician did a statistical survey on the likelihood all the scientists involved in the project in question all died within the rather short timeframe was by chance alone…you’re more likely to win the big lottery…multiple times.”
