Married at First Sight: Nicole & Chris Start A Family
Married at First Sight couple Chris and Nicole Thielk recently welcomed their first newborns, and that surely points to the dating show being a success. Read on for more details.
The Couple Welcomed Twins
People magazine was the first to report on the happy news. And, the best news is that they didn’t just welcome one child. In fact, they welcomed twins. One of them is a little boy, and the other, a little girl.
Apparently, the baby girl, named Sofia Lily is healthy and already went home. However, her brother, Anthony Ramsay, had some complications. So, the poor kid has to spend up to months in the hospital.
The Baby Boy Had Problems
The outlet cited the couple as saying:
… our son, Anthony, will be spending the next 3+ months in the NICU. Anthony was diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) when [Nicole] was around 17 weeks pregnant.
Because the doctors already knew that Anthony would need help when he was born, medical professionals made certain that everything was on standby for his delivery.
Chris and Nicole Thielk had no idea about CDH, but they found out that means he “had a hole in his diaphragm and the majority of his organs were in his chest, compressing his lungs.”
Actually, it’s quite a rare condition and apparently, it seldom occurs in twins. Fortunately, after his birth, the boy twin underwent surgery to correct the problem. He’s reportedly okay now, but obviously needs a lot of special care.
Because of their experience with the condition, the Married at First Sight couple already made a vow to bring more awareness about it to their fans and others.

When mafsfan on Instagram shared about the arrival of the twins, it became clear that not everyone clicked through to read the article. But, some did and those fans talked about it in the comments section.
One of them said, “Congratulations Mama & Daddy! What a beautiful sight with your precious babies! Prayers of healing for your baby boy. I am so happy for you!”

That seems very positive, so hopefully, soon, the couple can finally take their baby boy home.
