General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Triumphs In Court But Faces Heartbreak Over Scout’s Loss?

General Hospital: Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that prospects seem bright for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She might just secure a victory in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case, despite the fact that the woman is undeniably guilty.

Alexis Wants To Keep Seeing Scout, And She’d Prefer To Be Able To Protect Her

Alexis is eager to keep seeing Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might betray her before everything is settled, even if she gets the outcome he desires.

This week, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) approached Alexis, convinced that Willow shot Drew. They explained everything to her.

Trina and Kai confessed they were at Drew’s place looking for evidence he was using to blackmail Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Even though Kai has a key, being there with bad intentions without permission is still trespassing.

Kai And Trina Told Alexis About Willow’s Ringtone For Wiley

They mentioned hearing Willow’s ringtone for Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver), but Alexis pointed out that the ringtone doesn’t prove anything.

She informed Kai and Trina that she wouldn’t act on the information they provided-ultimately, Alexis is required to defend her client. She cannot jeopardize the case; she simply cannot do what they are asking-that would be malpractice; naturally, Kai and Trina were furious because they don’t comprehend the situation.

However, Alexis warned them that if they go to the police, they could end up in jail. Kai and Trina were present during the shooting, they unlawfully accessed Drew’s safe, and they have kept their presence from the police all this time.

Alexis’ Legal Ethics Dilemma

After the two of them left feeling upset, Alexis returned to check Willow’s phone records. She called the number she found there and, sure enough, it was Wiley’s phone.

So yes, Alexis is aware that Willow received the call right when Drew was shot. It’s not definitive proof, but it’s much more evidence than what the prosecution uncovered-they should have conducted more thorough research.

Alexis came to understand that Kai and Trina are correct;  Willow is guilty; she shot Drew. This week, we saw Alexis approach her law partner, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), and say, “Yes, Willow is guilty. She did shoot Drew.”

Diane Told Alexis She Knows Exactly What Needs To be done

Diane responded to Alexis that she knows exactly what needs to be done. Let’s be honest-if this were Diane defending Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and discovered they were guilty, Diane would keep this information to herself and fulfill her duties.

That’s her approach, and she has done exactly that many times. The possibility that a not-guilty verdict could impact Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) isn’t a factor. And it shouldn’t be, especially since Diane will likely defend Michael if he’s arrested and it goes to court.

General Hospital: Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)

Diane and Alexis Both Know The Information Should Be Kept Secret

Diane and Alexis are aware that a competent defense attorney would keep this information confidential. If Willow is convicted after Alexis fails to provide the right defense, Willow could sue her for malpractice and potentially have her conviction overturned.

Additionally, Alexis understands that a not-guilty verdict would allow her and everyone else to see Scout, except for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

It sounds like short term, Alexis will achieve a not-guilty verdict and will have the chance to see Scout for a while. However, even if Alexis wins Willow’s case, there are doubts about Drew honoring the agreement he made.

Alexis And Scout Will Both Lose

There’s a General Hospital spoiler indicating that both Alexis and Scout will end up losing, regardless of whether Alexis wins Willow’s case. Given this, Alexis will indeed secure a not-guilty verdict for Willow, as that would be the most dramatic outcome.

If the jury returns with a not-guilty decision, Alexis will undoubtedly let out a huge sigh of relief and immediately seek access to Scout. But as mentioned before, that doesn’t mean that dastardly Drew will keep up his end of the bargain!

Willow Walks Away From Drew

Regarding Willow, she has the option to distance herself from Drew. Recently, she confided in Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that severing her relationship with Drew won’t be easy, yet she is resolute in her decision.

Nina is fully supportive of her daughter and is prepared to do whatever is necessary. How long will it take before Willow confronts Drew and expresses her hatred for him?

Willow claims she only married him because she believed it would aid her in regaining custody of her children and winning this criminal case. I personally would be thrilled if Willow decides to turn around and hands Drew a hefty stack of divorce papers or, even better, annulment papers to erase that marriage completely.

Kai May Tell Drew The Truth And Warn Him

Before Willow reaches that stage and has the opportunity,  Kai might go and reveal to Drew the truth about what transpired, including that Willow shot him.

Kai possesses a moral compass and feels quite disturbed that Alexis continues to defend Willow despite her guilt. I doubt he and Trina fully grasp how the American legal system operates.

To accomplish this, Kai would need to confess that he was at Drew’s house engaging in activities he shouldn’t have been involved in. He could fabricate a story, claiming he was there for work and then hid out of fear after hearing the gunshots-he doesn’t even need to mention Trina’s presence.

Kai Won’t Tell Him He Was There To Access The Safe

If he tells Drew he was there to access the safe, Drew will undoubtedly lose his temper and lash out at Kai.

That’s because he wants to control Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and is angry that the blackmail is no longer in play. Meanwhile, Kai no longer likes or respects Drew, but he doesn’t want him dead or next to his potential murderer-Kai might be concerned that Willow could attempt to kill him again.

Kai has a lot on his mind; if he confesses to Drew, he might also say, “We took this to Alexis Davis.” I doubt Drew would blame Alexis for not informing the DA, but he might resent her for not telling him that his wife shot him.

This Might Be Why Drew Goes Back On His Promise Regarding Scout

This could be the reason he chooses to keep Scout away from Alexis despite their agreement. Let’s face it: Drew is searching for an excuse to prevent that side of the family from seeing Scout.

Even after a significant victory in court, Alexis might still find herself in a difficult position; Drew will be outraged if Alexis fails to inform him that Willow is the shooter.

Realistically, Drew still wants Michael to take the fall for it, so he might continue with his plans even knowing that his wife shot him. Alexis, naturally, will try to defend her actions by claiming that Willow is her client, not Drew, and that it falls under attorney-client privilege.

Drew Will Explode If Willow Files For Divorce

If Willow chooses to leave Drew and divorce him, he might explode; Drew could lash out at Willow, Alexis, Nina, the Quartermaines, Curtis Ashford, Michael, and almost everyone.

He might seek revenge on Willow-her betrayal could push Drew over the edge, making him more unstable than usual. It’s likely that  Drew will break his promise to Alexis.

He’s keeping Scout away from her family, which is sad because she feels lonely with just her nanny. She misses Alexis, Molly, Kristina, and her brothers a lot.

Ironically, Willow Does Care For Scout

Ironically, the only person who truly cares for Scout and is present in her life daily is the dangerous Willow; unfortunately, Scout will likely lose Willow too when she leaves Drew.

Once Drew learns that Willow shot him, he might also keep Scout away from her, adding more trauma and inconsistency for his daughter.

Perhaps after things settle down, Alexis can find a way to see Scout. If Drew acts out publicly or commits a crime, Alexis might pursue custody-that would be best for Scout.

It’s wild that killer Willow is a better parent to Scout than Drew- Alexis knows this and is still going after that not-guilty verdict this week.
