Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will push Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to fire Clyde Weston (James Read) from his brand new job as Brady’s Pub short-order cook in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Kate Roberts Doesn’t Trust That Clyde Weston Is Safe And Reformed
Days of Our Lives viewers can imagine that Kate wouldn’t trust that Clyde is either safe or reformed, just because he won his parole and has been released from Statesville Prison, she’ll worry that the pub could be robbed or worse! After all, Clyde has been responsible for lots of havoc in Salem over the last several years, including something that struck way too close to home for Kate, considering their past; she was the one who supplied contacts to Clyde from her past dealings with shady business in Salem. This led to EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) murder by Clyde’s henchman which EJ just recently remembered, although obviously he was brought back to life by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay); the henchman was then murdered and buried on Clyde’s farm in Missouri! Days of Our Lives viewers cannot blame Kate for not trusting Clyde, and pushing Roman to fire him – even though not obtaining a job may not be a parole violation, it’ll be a violation for staying with Ben and Ciara Weston (Robert Scott Wilson, Victoria Konefal)!
Days Of Our Lives Updates – Kate Roberts Doesn’t Want Clyde Weston In Salem
Days of Our Lives viewers know that Kate doesn’t even want Clyde in Salem, he’s caused so much havoc; and Roman initially didn’t want to hire him, but Ben talked him into giving Clyde a chance and a job. Days of Our Lives viewers know that it is difficult for people who are in their late sixties like Clyde is to find any employment, let alone gainful employment, and apparently Clyde hasn’t worked enough to even draw Social Security! It’s doubly hard for a convicted felon to get on his or her feet again, and many programs that formerly offered job placement and halfway houses have gone by the wayside in recent years. That’s why there are so many serial offenders out in the world, committing offenses that won’t get them a death sentence, but will assure them “three hots and a cot”, meaning food and shelter! Clyde is definitely at a disadvantage, being both in his late sixties and being a convicted felon!
Kate Roberts Continues To Push Roman Brady To Fire His New Short Order Cook
Days of Our Lives viewers can expect that Kate is being heavily influenced by EJ DiMera, who has just won his freedom and soon will be trying to retake his position as CEO of DiMera Enterprises! Now that the devil has left Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that should not be too difficult, and ousting Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will be one of the first things EJ will do when he takes back the reins. Of course, Kate lost her position at DiMera as well when Johnny DiDevil took over, and so she has a vested interest in both keeping EJ safe from his old enemy and keeping her boyfriend Roman safe from Clyde as well!
Days of Our Lives viewers know that the power of love can be very influential, and Kate will not let up on Roman until Clyde is gone from Brady’s Pub and hopefully from Salem, for good!
