The Young and the Restless Fans Are Cheering On This Major Change On The Soap

It looks like the fans have spoken. That’s because The Young and the Restless viewers all seem to be cheering on this major change on the soap.
The Young and the Restless Fans Are Cheering On This Major Change On The Soap
And by that, we mean the news that The Young and the Restless Head Writer Josh Griffth has stepped down from his role, which means there is going to be new talent filling in for his shoes.
For a lot of longtime viewers of the soap, this is a move that they believe should have happened a long time ago.
That’s because they haven’t been very pleased with the writing or the latest storylines for that reason.
That said, it does appear that Griffith will still remain as the Head Executive Producer of The Young and the Restless and will have an influence on the show’s future.
It goes without saying that it didn’t take very long for the internet to share their opinions about the matter.
Some even commented with, “There is a God. I’ve been waiting for this day forever! No more AI, kidnappings, Jabot, Newman Enterprise takeovers and mental disorders please!”

Another critic of the show wrote, “He should have been fired years ago before he did this much damage to the show and vet characters.
I stopped watching because I couldn’t stand the insulting storylines and lacklustre couples. I cannot rejoice fully until I hear someone competent and respectful of Bell’s legacy is at the helm.”
What’s Next For The Young and the Restless?
And then there was this comment as well: “I actually would not mind if they brought in someone who brings and implements new ideas.
The show has been in the dumps for so long cause it just repeats the same old drivel relentlessly (along with crappy dialogue of course) involving the same old characters. Maintaining the status quo is not an option.”
Now, as far as what will happen next, remains to be seen. Y&R fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen!
