The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Won’t Forget Hope Lied To Her Face – Steffy Is Sharper Than Ridge
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had no idea what her daughter was talking to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) about. Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and her brother were planning for their realized deals with Logan.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wanted to sit down with Hope and talk. He was sincere about clearing the air. Like Brooke, he had no idea that Hope signed a contract with Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) instant rival fashion house.
Devoted fans recall that Hope had a blowout with her mother earlier this decade. That happened when Noelle’s character decided to have a transactional relationship, to put it nicely, with Ridge’s son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
So, the start of what could become a pattern of behavior exists once anyone in this version of Los Angeles, California, demonstrates the ability to be hard.
Thomas Forrester Connection Was Eye-Opening
Characters need to be shown in different lights to maintain the audience’s interest as the years pass. So, goody two-shoes Hope was written darker.
She was disillusioned with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) at that point in the plot. They were no longer a couple, but Hope didn’t see herself falling in love with Thomas. So, she took a course that no one expected, including him.
Hope lashed out at Brooke during that storyline, speaking to her mother like she never had before. Brooke was stunned and hurt that Hope cited her unseemly history with a series of men and suggested that her genetic half was swayed by that infamous part of B&B’s lore.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Plays Hardball
Ridge is not a soft touch. But he surely has a softer approach to business than his mother, the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), and her namesake granddaughter, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Eric Forrester (John McCook) had a solid hand in running the business he and Stephanie co-founded. It would be fair to say that some of Ridge’s nuanced approach was inherited from his adoptive father, Eric.
Steffy is working a partial grudge against Hope in not wanting Hope for the Future’s newest products to be released. But that’s a moot point at this point because Hope officially works for Brooke’s youngest sister.
Brooke Logan Forrester Takes Charge?
One possibility wasn’t considered when Brooke wanted to be a co-Chief Executive Officer at Forrester Creations. Instead of her replacing Ridge, he could have stepped back and let his wife take his slot in the executive suite.
Yes, Brooke and Steffy would clash after Wood’s character went wild about that type of blindside change. But Brooke will have an entirely different perspective on family and business when she learns that Hope betrayed her trust.
Brooke will reference Hope sitting beside Deke in the Logan estate’s living room, with Ridge to her right. Hope’s open lie about the supposed leave of absence will be unexplainable, and then the daytime fireworks will surely explode.
