Dean Geyer Talks New General Hospital Role + First Airdate
General Hospital spoilers suggest a new face will soon be entering the land of Port Charles as actor Dean Geyer takes on the role of Tristan Roberts, a brand-new character.
The actor recently spoke out about working on the ABC soap and talked about his first airdate.

Geyer hopped on the social media platform X and posted a TV Insider article about General Hospital’s 16,000-episode celebration.
He also placed this in the caption, “Thrilled to officially join the cast of @GeneralHospital as Tristan Roberts.”
It went on to say, “Grateful for this new chapter. Big thanks to everyone for the love (heart emoji).”
Chris McKenna, who plays Jack Brennan on General Hospital, added a comment, stating, “Welcome, Buddy,” to which Geyer replied, “Thank you, sir!”
First Airdate
Of course, an X user asked about when General Hospital viewers expect to see Geyer on the daytime drama, via the post.
Geyer replied, “Thank you! I don’t want to give anything away that I am not allowed to.”
The actor added, “But somewhere around the middle of July. :)”
Geyer was recently seen in a General Hospital Instagram video where the cast and crew celebrated the taping of their 16,000th show.
It’s important to note the actor is currently shooting scenes for the ABC soap, so he’ll definitely be seen sometime next month.

While a newbie to daytime drama, he’s worked on the primetime hit, Glee, as well as the sci-fi series Terra Nova.
In addition, Geyer is a singer/songwriter who came in third during the fourth season of Australian Idol (Australia’s ‘American Idol’).
He also released a full album and five singles in 2007. From 2008-2009, he appeared on the Australian soap, Neighbours.
General Hospital audiences are buzzing with the news, wondering how Tristan will enter Port Charles, and if he’s somehow linked to Robert Scorpio, played by the late and legendary Tristan Rogers.
After all, the new character is clearly a tribute to the iconic Scorpio character and the actor who played him. Only time will tell.
