General Hospital Spoilers: Asher Antonyzyn Talks Cullum Shooting Fallout And Danny-Charlotte Romance Dropped

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan) talked on Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson’s (Damian Spinelli) podcast about what’s ahead in the teen scene.
Among the topics were Danny’s desire to free his father who took the fall for Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting and a scrapped storyline for a romance with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).
Danny Can’t Just Sit By And See His Father Falsely Accused
On General Hospital, Danny can’t just sit back while his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), is taken by the WSB for shooting WSB Director Ross Cullum.
One day, Danny will discover that it was Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), his ‘brother’, who committed the act, and Jason took the blame to protect him.
As a result, Danny feels completely alone without his dad-recently, GH viewers noticed that Danny is thinking about joining the mafia like his father.
He visited Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to discuss this and ended up talking with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Sonny. Later, he overheard them discussing Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota); therefore, Danny realizes that Sidwell is also connected to Jason’s disappearance.
Asher Talked To Steve Burton And Bradford Anderson On Their Podcast
On Sunday, Asher Antonyzyn joined his TV dad, Steve Burton, and Burton’s podcast partner, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), for a new episode.
The young actor expressed his thoughts on Danny’s emotional state and situation in Port Charles while his dad is missing.
When asked how Danny will react upon learning that Rocco was the one who shot Cullum and that his dad took the blame.
Antonyzyn said, ‘Danny still doesn’t know that it was Rocco who shot Cullum and all that. He still thinks, ‘Why would my dad do this and shoot Cullum?; then, they take him away.
Rocco And Danny Will Confront Each Other Eventually
When he finds out, he’ll be upset that his dad is wrongly accused; Rocco has just watched Danny struggle without saying anything.
I’m glad Danny and Rocco will eventually confront each other-they’re like brothers and very close; I’m excited for their conflict. Asher mentioned Danny’s impulsive nature is key to the story-he feels anger because his dad was the only one he had left.
Soon, it seems his dad is the only one he can trust. He misses that bond and feels upset seeing Rocco and Charlotte with their families; his dad was taken from him unfairly.

Danny’s Anger Drove Him To The Mob; The Danny-Charlotte Romance Was Scrapped
The young actor explained that Danny’s anger drove him to the mob-he approached Sonny and Rick, not knowing what to do, just wanting to act.
Asher said Danny couldn’t just stand by anymore and hearing “Sidwell” gives him a target to focus on to try to get his dad back, making him feel proactive. Also, a few months ago, social media buzzed when Charlotte and Danny kissed, and fans were shocked by their connection.
Asher’s comments suggest that Charlotte-Danny romance storyline was scrapped. “For a brief moment, there was something between them,” Asher remarked.
Asher Continued Talking About Danny And Charlotte’s Relationship
“Danny and Charlotte shared those scenes together, and were unsure of how to approach it.
Danny even consulted his grandma and dad about their familial connection, and they mentioned ‘distant cousins-like great grandfathers and great-great grandfathers-but ultimately, they are still somewhat related.” Antonyzyn elaborated on the current status of Charlotte and Danny’s relationship.
“After that, they had one scene together and came to the realization that their bond resembles that of Jason and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). They’re close, and they hold so much love for one another that it doesn’t feel appropriate to pursue anything further again.”
