There’s always two sides of the story, right? It appears as though General Hospital star Maurice Benard is ignoring harsh criticism about Kirsten Storms’s ex-husband, Brandon Barash.

General Hospital Star Maurice Benard Ignores Harsh Criticism About Brandon Barash

That’s because a lot of critics out there are none too pleased that Brandon has filed a restraining order on Kirsten.

Just to recall, Brandon claims that Kirsten has had a very hard time finding stable housing these last few years. She was evicted from her most recent apartment in Tennessee and has spent a lot of time living in hotels or with friends.

Also, Brandon claims that Kirsten has been suffering from delusions and hallucinations and that she’s having money troubles, too. Her car is about to be repossessed and Brandon says that he loaned his ex-wife $5,000 which she is yet to pay back.

A lot of soap fans took to Maurice’s Instagram account to vent out their frustrations about Kirsten and Brandon’s personal situation. As much as Maurice does comb through the comments section to acknowledge praise about himself, he did leave up the comments his fans wrote about Brandon.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for both GH fans and critics to say something about the matter.

Some commented with, “Praying for the guy that took her kid that she was solely raising for years because she is worried about a break in, all because his wife told him to? No way.”

Another critic wrote, “Harper’s father and he has been active and present in her life… I don’t believe Kirsten was ever raising her alone. And why would you assume Brandon’s wife told him to get the restraining order?”

“Let’s not make assumptions or spread rumours. If Kirsten is having mental health issues as it appears, perhaps Brandon is doing what’s in Harper’s AND Kirsten’s best interests.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Brandon never acted this way or distanced himself from Kirsten before his new wife came into the picture and decided to play house with someone else’s child.”

“He chose to move far away from Harper and Kirsten made the sacrifices of moving closer to him so she can have her dad around. But between when he abandoned her and when Kirsten found a home and was able to move there, she was raising her alone.”
