The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Matt Believes He’s Won as Adam Steps Up to Save the Day

The Young and The Restless: Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) believes he’s winning. This far into a storyline that’s zigzagged from Los Angeles, California, to Genoa City, Wisconsin, and now, Las Vegas, Nevada, he’s right.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is in no mental or physical condition to defeat Matt. For inexplicable reasons and ones that are also debatable within the plot, Morrow’s character is hooked on goofballs, to use an old illegal substance cliché.

Matt has engineered quite the comeback after being near death at Nick’s hands and fully under his mercy when they were in GC. But the shift to Vegas has dramatically flipped the power structure. That reversal is also one that should prove deadly.

Nick Newman Loses Control And Risks His Life

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accompanied his brother to the strip. That wasn’t an easy decision for the man who formerly went under an assumed and at the time amniotic stated name, being Spider.

Nick is grateful that his younger sibling is with him. He should prove to be indebted to him as this tale plays out because Nick isn’t capable of defending himself.

It appears that Matt maneuvered the creeps in his drug ring to ply Nick with the product he craves.

That intentional act was designed to put Nick out of commission and anyone’s reach. The game might be to make it appear as though Nick overdosed, when in reality, Matt would have caused his intended death.

Matt Clark Reverses Kidnapping Scenario

Taking Nick hostage in Vegas is a pure payback play. Viewers recall that Nick held Matt in his trunk and wanted to kill him, or at least he voiced that goal.

However, if Nick wanted to do that, it would have been done. Instead, his conscience was working in the background, and he didn’t immediately drive him to wherever that event would have occurred.

The Young and The Restless: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)

That gave Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) enough time to go to the Ranch main house and inform Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) what Nick was doing. The head of the Newman family took control, orchestrated a mock trial at the Cottage, with various characters rendering a verdict.

Victor then turned Matt over to the authorities after an unseen boxing match appeared to have taken place in the Moustache’s gym.

Adam Newman Drawn In By Riza Thompson

Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) cares about Adam. It feels like she wants to be involved with him permanently, but if that can’t happen, then she’ll take what she can get.

Yet, while that effort is happening, Adam is distracted. He needs to focus on Nick’s whereabouts rather than trying to convince Riza that he’s open to whatever she’s offering.

Matt must have another plan for Adam while he’s holding Nick. Fans will keep watching because the climax to this part of the compelling storyline that’s playing many miles away from home is about to hit.
