The Young And The Restless Fans Want ‘Heads To Roll’

The Young And The Restless fans have reached the point of wanting “heads to roll” after Monday, February 16th episode. No one was really surprised that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has been released into her mother’s custody.

However, Mariah kidnapped a child and then managed to show up at her victim’s home without being issues so much as a restraining order. What is going on here?

Soap Fans Are Outraged

Fans on the soap message boards are beyond outraged by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) having the nerve to show up at the Chancellor mansion with Mariah in tow to talk to Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) about the kidnapping.

What is the world is Sharon thinking to bring these two women face to face?

Sharon cannot be this gullible nor should she expect Abby to be. Justice would have been served if Abby had picked up the phone and turned them both in for trespassing.

How could Sharon remotely think that it is okay for bring a kidnapper to the door of the victim? What about Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) and potential PTSD?

Sharon Newman’s License Should Be Gone

Sharon should have lost her license for the stunt she pulled by allowing Mariah to come anywhere close to Dominic. This woman had kidnapped this child, dragged him halfway across the country and forced him to call her mommy.

Dominic was completely traumatized by this trip and wanted to be home with his parent.

Sharon is a mother and a grandmother. Sharon knows what increased trauma can do to a child and yet she has the nerve to go along with Mariah’s ridiculous idea.

Sharon doesn’t deserve to be a therapist if this is how she reacts to the aftermath of a kidnapping. How could Sharon or the writers justify her actions?

A Major Bail Violation

Mariah’s decision to go to the Winter’s home should have been a huge violation of her bail. Mariah should have been arrested and put on a mental hold for doing what she did to endanger that child.

Mariah may want forgiveness, but her actions are saying the exact opposite. How could Mariah face Dominic’s family at all after what she has done?

Mariah and Sharon should both be up on charges after everything that happened during this episode. Mariah has done this before and Dominic was a young child.

Now he is older and will certainly remember what happened this time. How do this writers justify putting this family in danger? What was Mariah thinking about going to confront Dominic’s family instead of staying away as she should?
