Prince Harry: Hopes For An Archie Outing Dashed By Meghan?

Allegedly, a rift develops between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the way they parent their son, Archie. A recent outing seems to indicate there might be a lot of tension between the two former working royals. Read on for more details.
Down In The Dumps
Apparently, Prince Harry looked “crestfallen” during a recent outing. While Meghan Markle works on cementing her place in the spotlight, rumors suggest that Harry’s hopes for making “golden memories” with Archie get sidelined.
On Tuesday, royal expert Neil Sean claimed on his Daily News Headlines vlog that Prince Harry appeared “worn out and not interested.” That opinion arrived after he appeared at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game on February 15, in Inglewood, California.

Conversely, Meghan Markle smiled and looked at the cameras. However, Sean also felt that she was allegedly “directing” her husband. So, he felt that Harry’s down demeanor suggested deep frustration.
Copying George & William?
According to Sean, the Duke of Sussex hoped that he and Archie could be like his brother, Prince William with Prince George, who often get to go to sporting events. Allegedly, Harry wanted young Archie at the game, which would show the strength of their father-son connection.
Unfortunately, for Prince Harry, the plans for an Archie outing hit a snag. According to an unnamed staff member cited by Sean, the claim arose that Meghan initially went along with the idea. However, allegedly, she later insisted that Archie “didn’t feel too good.” So, that ruined Prince Harry’s moment.
Interestingly, the story arrived not long after Chris Pratt and his son, Jack Daniel, attended the Seahawks NFL game against the New England Patriots.
Protective Or Controlling?
Critics might suggest that Meghan seems way too protective. Alternatively, folks might suggest that she’s way too controlling. Actually, because it involves Archie and Lilibet, it seems a bit interesting. Did you ever notice that Meghan Markle shares a lot more photos of Lilibet than her six-year-old brother?

Recently, she shared a Valentine’s photo of Lilibet with her dad, but Archie wasn’t in it. And mostly, he remains hidden from the public eye. With that in mind, Sean opined that Harry allegedly believes that taking his son into the spotlight might help his image.
A Power-Play?
Apart from that, the royal family expert also suggested that the outing wasn’t all just for fun. And, he alleged that it was about rubbing shoulders with big power players like the Obamas.
Well, if that’s really the motivation for attending the game, Meghan Markle might have felt a bit disappointed. After all, she ended up seated next to musician Queen Latifah instead.
Allegedly, Michelle Obama has “no plan” to get near the Sussexes. Why is that? Well, speculation arrived that since she plans on entering politics, Harry’s past comments about the U.S. might be a potential liability.
What Do You Think?
In the comments section, one commenter replied to Neil Sean, saying, “Love when William takes his kids to sports events they enjoy so much laughing, hugging, screaming together! All natural.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- Why didn’t they bring the kids to basketball game?? They are horrible!!
- So what it basically boils down to Neil is the fact that because Harry is incapable of standing up to his toxic wife his son is paying the price. He should be ashamed of himself.
- Harry should have left MM at home and taken his son instead.
