Sites have been putting up click bait rumors that Steve is once again leaving the show and his wife, Michelle Lundstrom is tired of Steve being used for click bait. What else do they have to say about a Burton exit?

Michelle Lundstrom Speaks Out
The latest round of bait items suggest that Steve has a medical condition that is forcing him to step away from the ABC soap.
Burton’s wife, Michelle, has stepped up to shut down that claim and tell fans the truth. Lundstrom took to her Instagram stories and shared a screenshot of the post from Facebook claiming to offer General Hospital.
Lundstrom posted, “This is a fake page and fake news. It’s so sick we have to continue to post about this garbage, but my mom called me worried because her cousin called her after reading this fake clickbait garbage.” She wanted to make it clear that these types of posts can actually scare family members who are not always in touch as often as they would like.
Steve Burton Speaks Up As Well
Steve shared his wife’s response on his personal Instagram story and reassured fans that he is perfectly fine. Steve also pointed out that fans need to make sure and check their sources.
Some posters actually get paid by clicks on their site and they don’t care if the information is accurate or not. However, when it comes to an actors health, it can be very concerning.
Fans should remember that no everything shared on social media is accurate which is why sites usually have some type of authentication procedure.
Be careful of information that does not come from a reliable source or from the actor themselves. Click bait can get attention but it can also cause harm so please, don’t believe anything that is not from an authenicated source.
