The Cancer Charity Event

The Royal Family Channel on YouTube dropped some footage of the future Queen, and explained that the gardens open to the public until December 16. There, they may donate to the cancer charity and also dedicate a rose to someone’s memory. During her visit, the Princess did exactly that. Her rose bore a sweet message: “In loving memory of all those who have lost their lives to cancer.”

In the video footage, Princess Catherine could be seen chatting with other people affected by the illness, including young children. As ever, she seemed very graceful, and it seemed extra special as there was no pomp and ceremony. Just a woman with empathy who suffered from cancer and reaches out to others.

Royal Family Fans Comments

In the comment section, the love for Prince William’s wife was very evident. One viewer opined, “She is an extraordinary human being, a true Queen.”

What The Charity Does

The Royal Marsden, set up decades ago, is a leader in the fight against cancer worldwide and a pioneer in cancer treatment and research. Many people appreciate it because they focus on care and medical breakthroughs that save lives.

All of that happens through generous donations from the public. Of course, the Garden event that Catherine attended is a big part of the annual calendar. The Christmas season always seems more difficult for those struggling with the disease, or who lost loved ones to it.

King Charles Update

Of course, it’s not the first time this year, that a member of the royal family attended or spoke about the illness. King Charles opened up in a speech on Channel 4 recently, and reminded people that early diagnosis is so important. Additionally Princess Catherine’s father-in-law also updated on his treatment, telling folks that his treatment will be scaled down next year. Certainly it seems as if his fight is leading to some sort of recovery.
