The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sharon Case Sheds Her Character’s Woes and Has a Blast For Halloween

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Case is daytime royalty. She debuted on the CBS’s number one rated soap in 1994 and was immediately embraced by loyal fans.
In honor of her decades long milestone, the show devoted a tribute episode to her character, and Genoa City, Wisconsin simply would not be the same without Sharon.
Sharon Newman is a Heroine for the Ages
While many long-time characters are back-burnered or put on recurring status, Sharon has always earned her spot at the front and center of the canvas.
Last year Sharon was in a central plotline in which she was framed for murder. Next up, she was kidnapped by a deranged doctor and forced to live with her arch enemy, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
The show’s latest hot plot involves the debuts of soap icons Roger Howarth and Tamara Braun as married couple Mitch and Sienna Bacall. And Sharon is written right into the middle of the delicious story, via her connection to son Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).

Sharon is in LA For Noah
Right now Sharon is in Los Angeles, California following the brutal accident involving Noah. But she is in for another surprise, that Mitch is actually Matt Clark (formerly portrayed by Rick Hearst) from her past.
Matt Clark is a convict who assaulted Sharon in 2001. Nick Newman was arrested for Matt’s murder but later we learned that another character was responsible. It appears that another trial and tribulation is on the horizon for poor Sharon.
Matt was Last Seen in 2001
Luckily, in real life Sharon Case is having way more fun than her long-suffering character.
She posted a fun post to Instagram for Halloween which shows her at the All Ghouls Gala, a fundraiser for autism.
With her are Y&R alums Tamara Clatterbuck and Kate Linder, and all three ladies look to be having a blast.
