‘Y&R’ Spoilers: Victoria and Nate Rekindle Romance — Audra’s Power Play Crumbles

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that the run-in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) proved useful. Nate re-sent the message that he’s done with his ex and reinforced that he’s Victoria’s friend.
Nate didn’t plan on seeing Audra when he was jogging in Chancellor Park. He went there to meet with Victoria, which grated Audra.
Victoria should have waited to mention her nephew’s car accident. But once she did, Audra’s ears perked up, and she wanted information. But Heinle’s character didn’t divulge any, and Nate maintained his downward glance on the woman who had recently betrayed his trust.
Victoria and Nate Rekindle Romance — Audra’s Power Play Crumbles
Audra realized too late that traveling to France was a mistake. Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) miserable gathering, which stretched through an eternal summer, was pitched as Aristotle Dumas’ gathering of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, power players.
Her aim at Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) involved faulty logic. She thought he could be conned into making a play for her, which would satisfy Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) condition and allow her cosmetic company idea, Vibrante, to be funded.
Why Audra thought she could outwit Kyle and that Nate would never learn what happened, even if she had been successful was outrageous. Her ego and impulsive nature drove her way over the morality line.

Nate Hastings Forgets About His Duplicity
It wasn’t that long ago in real time that Nate was involved in a bad confrontation with his cousin, Devon Winters (Bryton James). Devon sucker punched him because his former girlfriend, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), cheated on him with Nate.
Nate also undermined the Winters family business interests, which further alienated him from Devon and caused his other cousin, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), to lose trust in Dominic’s character.
But scant mention has been made about the above in recent times. So, soap opera fans are asked to believe it may have happened many years ago. Yet, Nate knows what he did and won’t give Audra any grace. While she was wrong, he could offer forgiveness and an opportunity for redemption, but he simply doesn’t want to.
Victoria Newman Working Through Her Grief
Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) was one of the great loves of Victoria’s life. His return to town was vital because of the Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) reveal.
Eve, now known as Claire, never died. That remarkable storyline, which included the creation of one of this show’s more memorable villains, Jordan Howard (played by the incomparable Colleen Zenk), led to Victoria and Cole’s reconciliation after they last divorced in 1998.
Nate is grieving the loss of what was his newfound brother, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). That’s been a leading bonding point with Victoria, whom Nate dated in the past. Daytime fans also see that Audra was purposely split from Nate so he and Victoria could revisit their one-time spark.
