General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Confidence Signals He Is Framing Willow As Drew’s Shooter — Does That Mean He Did It?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was above confident when speaking to his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting would not fall on him.
He spoke with certainty that the police were going to follow the evidence straight to the person who shot Drew, and perhaps he was so confident because he made sure that was the case.
Watching Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) shoot Drew may be all the evidence that Michael ever needed to keep his children — Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) — away from her.
General Hospital Spoilers — A Well-Laid Plan
Michael spoke with an air of confidence because he isn’t guilty, right? That’s what most fans seem to be telling themselves today. The strongest fan theory is that Willow shot Drew, and Michael witnessed it.
He didn’t change his mind about confronting Drew over his reconciliation with Willow that night; instead, he was pre-empted by Willow’s gunshots. It makes sense. But if I’m being honest, so does the theory that Michael shot him and pinned it on Willow.
We might not be able to figure this one out until we find out whether Willow’s fingerprints were on that gun. At the same time, we’re left questioning how Michael came to have it in his possession!
GH Spoilers Question If Michael Planted the Gun
Michael did show up to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) the day the PCPD came with a search warrant and tracked down that gun, but it didn’t seem like he had a moment away from Willow.
However, Elizabeth did leave him there before Willow got home — to wait on her.
So, theoretically, he could’ve used that time wisely to drop the gun among Willow’s belongings. But there is another theory in play, too.
Might Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — in a desperate attempt to make sure her son remained looking innocent — have helped him out by planting it when she was there earlier in the day chatting with Elizabeth?
General Hospital Spoilers — What Tracy Didn’t See
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may have spotted Michael at Drew’s on the night of his shooting, but it appears she missed the other person who was there. That doesn’t mean Michael did.
Could Michael have seen Willow at Drew’s place that night? Might it be possible that he saw her shoot Drew and run away just before Tracy showed up?
Obviously, just because Michael knew the evidence wasn’t going to point back to him doesn’t mean there was no evidence that could point back to him.
He could’ve shot Drew and set the stage for it to look like Willow did it by making sure the police found it where she was staying.
But it’s sounding more likely that Michael isn’t worried about being fingered for this crime because he knows who committed it, and he was just giving the police some help in figuring it out. What say you? Do you think he did it, or is Willow guilty all the way?
