The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the soap’s sister show, The Young and the Restless, has a soapilicious mystery going on right now, and it revolves around a businessman named Aristotle Dumas.

Dumas is a mystery man. None of the Genoa City, Wisconsin based characters have a clue as to who this cypher is. Dumas is a mogul but even the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t know who he is.

Daytime fans have been speculating on the identity of Dumas, and there is one theory that holds promise. Could The Bold and the Beautiful’s very own version of Victor Newman be masquerading as Dumas? Never say never!

Is Dollar Bill Aristotle Dumas?

The two CBS shows have a celebrated history of character crossovers. In fact, Diamont began his CBS soap career as Brad Carleton on Y&R. Wouldn’t it be grand if he returns to his roots and it turns out that Bill is really behind Aristotle Dumas?

There is one huge clue that suggests that Bill could be Ari–Dumas is based in Los Angeles. But Bill Spencer is not the only guess fans have taken about this mystery man.

Who Will Aristotle Dumas Turn Out to Be?

Some fans think that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) or Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) could be the force behind Dumas.

They fit the bill as high-flying businessmen. But Goddard is now starring on General Hospital and it’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not the show is bringing back Tucker.

Amid these valid guesses is another one that also makes sense, in the form of Bill Spencer. A fan on Reddit kicked off the convo about the possibility of Bill being Dumas: “I have watched both soaps for a long time and character crossovers have been great with Lauren and Ashley.

He is underused in LA, but him in Y&R plus him and Victor are close in age so it makes sense, and it can explain the connection to LA.”

Is There A Crossover in the Works?

Another dual CBS soap watcher wrote “Brad would be better, but I’ll take him over there either way. Especially if Liam leaves.” A third chimed in noting that Bill is not a major onscreen presence anymore but added “they would need to address the fact he is a ‘dead ringer’ for Brad Carlton.”
