Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Has EJ DiMera Turned A New Leaf – Or Is He Faking?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has become a totally new person since he’s awakened from his coma.

He seems to have turned a new leaf, shifting away from his former scheming self and toward a respectable human being. Still, is this “new EJ” the real deal or just a scam?

EJ DiMera Has His Eye On Belle Black

There’s a very good chance EJ is pretending to be a new man to “woo” Belle Black (Martha Madison). After all, he knows just how smitten she is with him, and the only thing that was holding her back from a romance was his ‘terrible’ side.

At the end of the day, EJ is a lovable villain. He does a ton of bad things, but he often redeems himself thanks to his charm and wit.

Still, while Belle admires EJ as a family man, someone who can engage in philanthropic activities, and who values his community, the “other side” of him; mainly, the side that does things like keep Arnold Feniger’s (Galen Gering) return a secret and kidnaps Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in the process, disgusts her.

Not to mention the side that used his job as Salem’s district attorney to bury his enemies, too.

As such, it’s not hard to imagine EJ using his coma, and thus pretending he’s a changed man, to his advantage in scoring Belle’s heart.

It Could Be For A Different Reason

Then again, EJ could be pretending to be a changed man for another reason. Perhaps he knows who his shooter is, and he wants to trap them? Then again, if Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was the one who shot EJ, maybe EJ is pretending to be a better man for his son’s sake.

The very idea that his only son tried to kill him could’ve scared him straight.

There’s also the chance that EJ is trying to fool Belle, so that she can become vulnerable and he can strike against her to get back at her for the wiretap incident.
