The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), ‘proposed’ a working arrangement with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) during the Friday, April 25 show.

Right now, she’s loving her job at Marchetti, but becoming the COO at Newman Media is enticing. Chelsea will likely accept Adam’s offer in the days ahead, but could this mean trouble in paradise for Chadam?

Chadam Will Be Spending A Ton Of Time Together

Working together plus living together? Are Chadam doomed if Chelsea moves forward with this Newman Media opportunity? It seems as if Chelsea went from dragging her heels to moving in with her ex, to jumping “all in” with Adam, although the couple does seem to be quite happy, post-romantic reunion.

Still, will all the time they spend together moving forward be a little too much?

The Billy Abbott Factor

Chadam won’t only be spending a lot of time together, they’ll be making a ton of high-level decisions. What if they don’t see eye-to-eye on the direction the company is going or a major campaign? How will they make decisions on stories to run?

Then, there’s also the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) factor. Adam just loves smearing Billy’s name using Newman Media, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could be poised to do the same where Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is concerned.

Would Chelsea fight for the Abbotts, especially Billy? This could add a ton of conflict between Adam and Chelsea. Adam and Billy have never gotten along, considering their ugly history together.

Add in the fact that Billy is Chelsea’s ex, and things could get very messy between Chadam if Adam wants to run a story that makes Billy or Abbott Communications look bad, and Chelsea declines it.

How heated could things get between Chadam over this? Could it be something that breaks them up?
