The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Finn Can’t Walk Away From Luna – Steffy’s Crisis Builds
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) sees a clear difference between Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
He wasn’t responsible for Sheila’s backstory, which led to her criminal life, but it would have turned out differently if he’d been in Luna’s life.
Finn resents Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), denying him a life with their daughter. Her decision to never seek a definitive paternity answer denied him the ability to know Luna from when she was born.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) already stressed that Luna would be trouble. However, her conflicting message tells Finn she will support him through this most challenging time.
Dealing With Future Shock Isn’t Easy
Luna long wanted to know who her father was. She was naturally curious and found it strange that her mother always steered that conversation back to their Nozawa power.
But Poppy was trying to protect her daughter and Finn. Some, including the two just mentioned, believe that Poppy was protecting herself first.
Proof that Finn and Luna are likely right includes Poppy allowing Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) to believe she should feel guilty about the Jack Finnegan (Ted King) debacle.
Viewers recall that Li was convinced Jack had an affair with Poppy, making him Luna’s father, but the reality proved very messy.
John Finn Finnegan Can’t Overcome Emotion
Finn’s paternal bond with Luna was displayed in the living room of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) home. He had to see her after receiving a text from what was likely a prison official.
The odd house arrest scenario Luna is experiencing allowed Finn to have one-on-one time with his daughter, which wouldn’t have been possible in the prison visitor’s room. Their meeting and first-time embrace as father and daughter were well written, memorably played, and skillfully recorded.
Steffy’s Sheila argument isn’t likely to work in this instance. Finn believes Luna deserves compassion. He decided that Sheila didn’t, and Steffy would have to deal with that.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Feels Doom Again
The pressure Steffy’s parents are putting on her is already impacting her. She’s frazzled, and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) aren’t letting up.
Steffy loves Finn, but she also fears what Luna represents. Those theoretical concerns will turn to panic the instant she learns that Finn’s newfound daughter isn’t in prison.
This storyline has had its moments where suspending doubt was needed. However, a desire to learn how this will all play out is strong now that the audience has been taken to this point.
Finn’s need to tell Steffy everything creates an intriguing gambit. Steffy needs honesty, and he can provide that. But in exchange, she’ll need to allow her husband to have a relationship with his daughter, who is also Sheila’s granddaughter.
