General Hospital Alum Vanessa Marcil Shares Words of Wisdom About “Aging Gracefully”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Brenda Barrett in the land of Port Charles and would love nothing more than to see the character and her portrayer return to the little town.

Brenda would definitely heat things up and turns heads, especially Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) who is a single pringle. But would the two reunite? Anything is possible, right?

Meanwhile, Brenda’s portrayer, Vanessa Marcil has been a busy bee as of late, so it’s hard to say if her schedule could accommodate a GH return.

Regardless, despite being a veteran of soap operas, the 56-year-old actress looks anything but and she recently shared some words of wisdom surrounding the old adage of “aging gracefully”.

Vanessa Marcil Shocks Fans with New Look

Marcil recently caught fans off guard, in a good way, by unveiling a new look on Instagram. She uploaded a post with two pictures on it, showing off her beautiful updated ‘do, some hot-pink hair!

In the first photo, Marcil has some sunglasses off, with her lips puckered seductively, and in the second picture, she’s giving a steamy glance to her IG followers.

Of course, fans and friends hit the comment section with some nice messages.

A Social Media Post with An Important Message

The caption on Marcil’s Instagram post with her new hairdo notes, “People don’t ever tell men to “age gracefully” I intend to age UNGRACEFULLLY and have fun. Think @cher but unlikable ……. #ageungracefully Real hair color by @divinityray.”

Marcil’s not wrong, and we absolutely love her vibe with this message!

The post was liked by old GH co-stars, Maurice Benard, as well as one of Vanessa’s closest friends in real life, Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo).

In addition, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) both liked the post and slid into the comment section, noting, “Cool!” We completely agree with Finola!
