General Hospital Spoilers: Are Liz And Lucky Finding Their Way Back To Each Other?

The writing seems to be on the wall for one of General Hospital’s long-running on/off couples, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson).

Ever since his return from Somalia last fall, these former lovers have been carefully circling each other. Their son, Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy), connects them, but Lucky has hardly been a guiding light in his life.

General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Didn’t Trust Lucky At All At First

The single mom knows the drill. For most of Aiden’s life, Lucky has been off saving the world while she raised their son. This was exactly the reason why she not only distrusted Lucky’s intentions but also expected him to disappear just as quickly as he had appeared. S

he wanted her son to have time with his father but feared setting him up for more hurt if Lucky left again.

That Lucky has stuck around and dug into his relationship with Aiden has clearly impacted Liz. You can see now that she wants to trust him and is slowly starting to see the changes in her ex.

Lucky also has taken a very careful approach to how he handles Liz. This might be the first time that he has ever actually understood how much his absence has affected her.

General Hospital Spoilers: Is A Reunion In Their Future?

Nothing brings people together like a common goal, and for these two, it’s finding proof that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the General Hospital killer.

Liz and Lucky have always worked great together as a team, and right now is no different. Their connection and timing when it counts is alive and well even after all the years apart.

In between super-sleuthing, that old magic seems to be returning. Longtime GH viewers are reminded of what many consider to have been a golden era of the show.

Watching Liz and Lucky delicately reunite is like watching them the first time around back in the late 90s. He still remembers how to be careful with her heart, when he wants to be.
