Days Of Our Lives Star Stephen Nichols Reveals The Wonderful Way He Spent His Week Off

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson) recently revealed some actions he took during his time off. As wildfires were running rampant in Los Angeles, when the DOOL took a break period, Nichols jumped into action.

Not All Heroes Wear Capes

Nichols may play a Salem hero on DOOL; however, he proved to be a real-life hero for many. Posting a collage of photos on his Instagram handle, Nichol’s caption read, “It’s been a heartbreaking few weeks here in Los Angeles. While I’m beyond grateful that my family and our home are safe, my heart aches for friends and neighbors who are struggling.”

He goes on to tell fans that during his Days’ hiatus, he made some calls and signed up to help deliver essentials for families in need.

Nichols continues to say, “Thanks to Junaid at @ketchumdowntownymca, for giving me the opportunity to help out, as well as @ymcla and @pasadenaymca. It was uplifting to see so many kind, dedicated people working hard to help others recover from this unimaginable loss.”

Days tend to take small breaks throughout the year, as they do film several months ahead of airing. It looks like instead of rest and relaxation, Stephen opted to make a difference.

Days Fans & Colleagues Show Their Appreciation

Of course, both DOOL fans and co-stars of Nichols ran to the comment section to offer their support.

Days colleague, Martha Madison, who plays Belle Black on the soap commented with a heart emoji, a hands-up emoji, and hands clapping emoji. Other DOOL stars like Sal Stowers (Lani Price-Grant) and Nichols’ onscreen love, Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) hearted the post.

DOOL fans also chimed in, with one stating, “Reason #1 2 3 4 5 6 7 why your fans love you,” while another commented on the post by saying, “The Patchman delivers!” These were just two of the many comments made by fans.
