The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal Linden Ashby, Y & R’s former Cameron Kirsten recently had a surfing accident. As a matter of fact, he had a face smashing wipeout, and he broke his nose!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: A Broken Nose Usually Bleeds-A Lot!
After seeing hallucination Cameron walking around for several months with a beaten and bruised face and a bloody shirt in the Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) recent storyline, it’s easy to imagine that look! Linden must have looked very similar after his fraught fight with his surfboard-a broken nose usually bleeds-a lot! It seems a sudden wave caught the avid surfer by surprise, as he was paddling lying down on the surfboard.
From the way he described the mishap, he definitely must have looked like a real mess. However, he kept a sense of humor about the accident, read on to see what he said.
Y & R Spoilers: He Fought The Board And The Board Won
Recently, Linden Ashby found himself looking like he had just stepped out of a grueling boxing match after attempting to ride the waves. Linden took to Instagram to share his unexpected surfing mishap; “I fought the board and the board won,” he joked, alluding to the classic tune “I Fought the Law.” He described how he was “paddling in a two-foot shore break, trying to catch one on my belly, and then I got completely wiped out!” He recounted the moment his face collided with the deck of his board, a hit so hard it nearly knocked him out and left him with a broken nose.
Thankfully, the incident didn’t dampen his spirits; “Jeez…” he chuckled, “I just wanted to catch a few waves this morning.”
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Christian LeBlanc Was Shocked
In a lively reaction, former co-star Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), never short on words, exclaimed, “Good God! The humanity!” Although Ashby met his end on Young & Restless in 2024, Cameron made a surprising return as a creation of Sharon’s mind.
This was after the wicked antics of Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Crazy Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) interfered with her bipolar medication.
In the end, the resilient heroine managed to expel him from her thoughts, but… yes, many of us still cling to the hope that a twin brother of Cameron might appear. Perhaps the good twin could arrive in Genoa City, and stir up a bit of intrigue for the blissfully married Diane Abbott (played by Ashby’s real-life wife, Susan Walters).

I really enjoy Cameron’s appearances on Y & R. I hope they will use him more. He is like a touch of reality in a fantasy world.
