The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Billy Is Underestimated Again – Victor Is Unbeatable?

The Young and The Restless: Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) isn’t pursuing a vivacious, fresh start in the new year. Instead of the proverbial new beginning, he’s bitter.

Many have been trying to persuade him to seek revenge. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) aren’t in favor of Billy’s ideas.

Three different ladies with vastly differing experiences in Genoa City, Wisconsin, agree that attempting to pay Victor back by going after him and Newman Enterprises isn’t wise.

But is Billy being discounted because of Victor’s reputation as a ruthless business tycoon who almost always gets what he wants?

Not exactly because Sally, Chelsea, and Lily know it’s dangerous for Billy not to move on for reasons that go well beyond the reigning king of GC.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Most Recent Loves Offer Seasoned Perspectives

Sally didn’t shield her intentions. Her offer for Billy to fly with her to Europe was intended as a method of distraction.

She disagrees with Billy’s vengeful goal. However, Hope’s character also tells him that when they return from their split-reason excursion, partial business, and pleasure, she expects him to do what he wants.

Sally hasn’t been with Billy long but knows it’s not worthwhile to steer him away from the bone he’s chewing on.

Chelsea betrayed Billy in the recent past. Her reconnection with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) hit hard because of who she specifically lied about being with in Baltimore, Maryland. Yet, the connection she forged with Billy was real and the son they share binds them forever.

So, Billy listens to Chelsea. Her use of Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) perspective projects a mother’s love. While he appreciates Chelsea’s looking out for him, he isn’t moved by her arguments against pursuing revenge.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Can’t Go Back

Lily considered her options and took her time. She decided it wasn’t plausible for her to join Billy in his plan to try to win Chancellor back or avenge Victor for supposedly stealing it from him.

Billy lives in a land of delusion. His mother decided he couldn’t handle the responsibility she gave him, so she sold Chancellor to Victor. As longtime viewers know, Jill was actually selling the company back to him because Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) willed it to Braeden’s character.

Returning to Winters was the right move for Lily. The chat with Devon Winters (Bryton James) about their cousin’s brother being offered a position with their family business winks at Damien (Nathan Owens) being a future romantic interest for Lily, reinforcing that any revival with Billy isn’t likely.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why Does Billy Abbott Take Risks?

The audience recalls that Billy was a gambler. Newer viewers have been told that he’s kept that addiction in check. Longtime fans know that’s true but also recognize that he channels that urge in other ways.

Wanting to get Chancellor back and going after Victor is a form of gambling. It embodies Billy’s reckless bent while blowing money at card games or obtaining Jaboat. Unless a sudden realization happens shortly, he will again put himself needlessly at risk.
