Jill Dillard Queries The Best Soup For Flu

Counting On alum Jill Dillard and her husband Derick struggle at the moment because the winter flu hit the family. It sounds as if Freddy, Sam, Isreal Dillard, and their parents might all be unwell. So, TLC fans discussed the best soups for those people feeling under the weather.

Jill Dillard Deals With Flu In The Family

Many Counting On fans know how it is when flu hits an entire family.  As winter approached last year, those who follow The Little Couple mom, Dr. Jen Arnold were warned that the flu season could also bring complications with pneumonia. She urged people to check with medical professionals. But, TLC fans can’t live at the hospital permanently.

Jill Dillard often shares about her children, but she stopped showing their faces some ago. Some fans think that might relate to the fact that Derick Dillard is an attorney now. So instead of posting sick kids, the Counting On alum showed her fans a bowl of soup this week.

Jill Dillard On Soups For Flu

On Thursday, the TLC alum posted a simple photo of a bowl of soup on a table. In the blurry background, one of the kids might have been sitting on the couch wrapped up in a blanket. In her Instagram post, the Counting The Cost author wrote:

#flu in the house = all the soups

What is your go-to soup during sickness?

#chickennoodlesoup here today.

Jill Dillard probably learned about chicken noodle soup being great for the flu from her mom, Michelle Duggar. After all, the Counting On matriarch bred plenty of kids. And, the older kids would have helped to nurse the younger ones.

TLC Fans Talk About The Best Soup

Judging by the reactions that arrived in Jill Dillard’s comments section, plenty of TLC fans prefer chicken noodle soup as their go-to with flu. Others mentioned different types that they find useful for that scratchy throat.

  • Homemade chicken noodle soup! It’s the best for when you’re sick. Hope all are well soon!
  • Pastina, definitely! The veggies and the cheese and the pasta and the homemade bone broth are the perfect combination when there is sickness in the house.
  • Tupa Toscana is our go to soup in my home. Super simple and quick recipe ❤️❤️and full of so much yummy flavors and healthy.
  • Chicken noodle soup. Sadly, our family is sick right now as well.
  • Nothing like matzo ball soup, cures all ills!
  • Italian chicken soup.

Do you agree that Jill Dillard choosing chicken noodle soup for the flu might be the best option? Shout out in the comments below, and remember to come back here often for all your Counting On family news.
