Days Of Our Lives Martha Madison On The EJelle Romance & How It Brings Out The Darker Side Of Belle

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that despite Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) warnings, her daughter Belle Black once again made a terrible life choice by hopping back into EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) bed.

Well, technically it was him hopping into her bed, but that’s not the point!

Actress Martha Madison recently spoke with Women’s World, talking about the EJelle romance and how it brings out the worst in her character.

Days Spoilers: EJelle Mirrors ‘Moonlighting’

Madison does tell Women’s World that Belle knows what she’s getting into when it comes to EJ, and she also notes that Belle and DiMera are a lot like Cybill Sheperd and Bruce Willis’ romance in Moonlighting.

Madison states, “They’re constantly love-hating, love-hating, love-hating, because they both know this isn’t right. There’s a lot of humor and it’s all over the place. That’s fun to watch and play.”

Still, the actress reveals that her character is clearly throwing caution to the wind, noting that Belle’s thought when it comes to canoodling with EJ is to follow her heart’s desire and have some fun. Madison goes on to say, “And who cares? Nobody’s gonna get hurt.”

Wrong! Belle’s steamy reunion with EJ has upset her mother, Marlena, a lot. So much so, that EJ is banned from entering her house. So, if the two want to continue engaging, then it’ll have to be somewhere outside the Black homestead.

With that said, if Belle’s sister Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) – who is set to return to Salem soon – were to find out about her litter sis’ romp, she wouldn’t be overly pleased, either!

DOOL Spoilers: Every Day Is A “Surprise”

While the proverbial drama has hit the fan for Belle and EJ, it sounds like Madison is having a ton of fun with her latest Days run, telling Women’s World, that, “Every script is a surprise!”

But, how will Belle feel when she realizes that the man she just hit the sheets with was holding a friend of hers, hostage? After all, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was locked up in the DiMera tunnels, on the cusp of missing his own wedding, thanks to EJ! It’ll be interesting to see Belle’s reaction on this, in the “days” to come!
