At Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) wedding reception, Audra expressed her skepticism about the institution of marriage, sharing her critical thoughts on the idea of tying the knot.

Even though there is some doubt whether it was Audra who was burned badly by Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) or the other way around, let’s give her the benefit of the doubt.

Her side of the story was she was pregnant with Noah’s child and he dumped her before she could tell him, at that point moving back from London to Genoa City.

Being objective, it was probably a really bad breakup for both of them, although Noah had no problems moving on with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), moving from GC again.

So Audra may simply be bitter over what may have been her first real love Noah and that experience-although she majorly acted out by having affairs with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)!

If that was really what happened between her and Noah, then perhaps she’s disillusioned with the idea of marriage.

Audra’s perspective on marriage isn’t a surprise; she has openly shared her thoughts with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) over the past few months.

If she wasn’t already skeptical about the concept of marriage, Tucker certainly solidified her doubts-despite his numerous proposals and assurances of a blissful future, their relationship ended in a bitter breakup.

This experience undoubtedly deepened Audra’s cynicism about the idea of exchanging vows, as she now sees how easily things can unravel.

However, destiny might have different intentions, especially considering the results of Abby’s bouquet toss. Tradition holds that whoever catches it is destined to be the next to marry, and in the November 15 episode of Y&R, it was Audra who ended up with the catch.
