Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon & Abby’s Wedding Drama – Ashley Goes Missing

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate there will be some drama leading up to the Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway)/Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) wedding.

This is the land of Genoa City, so there are a million possibilities around what could go wrong. However, as the super couple specifically picked a date in November, to ensure the bride’s mom, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), could attend, it’s hard not to think that the obstacles that arise could surround her.

Could Ashley go missing?

Y&R Spoilers: Ashley Is Working Hard On Her Mental Health

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Ashley is currently in a facility in Paris, working on her mental health. She suffered from dissociative identity disorder (DID) thanks to a traumatic incident during her honeymoon that involved Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) – her friend and therapist, Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) evil twin.

This triggered a trauma from her past, potentially her childhood; however, it has yet to be said what other trauma was that initially caused her DID.

Ashley’s family, as well as her ex, Tucker McCall (last played by Trevor St. John), was concerned by her erratic behavior when she returned to GC back in the fall of last year. They were over the moon when all the puzzle pieces were put into place, and Ashley finally got the help she needed.

Her November return is much anticipated by fans and the characters in GC alike, so if she were to go missing, Abby’s life, as well as Ashely’s Abbott siblings, would be flipped upside down.

Y&R Spoilers: What Could Go Wrong?

Perhaps Ashley gets on a plane to come to her daughter’s wedding and isn’t seen in town when she arrives.

What could go wrong? Well, there’s speculation that “Alan” is really Martin and the wrong twin died in that fatal tumble off the balcony in Paris, this past June.

Alan is in a romance with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), but fans have noticed some small quirks and comments that have them believing that Martin is parading around as Alan. Could Martin pick Ashley up, reveal his true personality, take her somewhere to hold her hostage, and torture her?

Then again, maybe Ashley’s DID was never fully taken care of in Paris or a trauma from the airport to GC is triggered, and one of her many personalities surfaces. Ashley could slip into Ms. Abbott and decide to take off on her family.

Then again, Ashley may be kidnapped by someone entirely different, and a new mysterious storyline is launched! Either way, if Ashley goes missing, all heck will break loose!
