‘Mama June’ Custody Agreement Between Pumpkin & Josh Efird Confirmed

Mama June: Family Crisis fans never expected Josh Efird and his wife, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon Efird to divorce. So, most WEtv fans were shocked to find out that the parents of four little kids had parted. This week, the details concerning custody of Ella Grace, Bentley, and the twins, Sylus and Stella emerged. 

The Divorce Was Already Concluded 

Pumpkin and Josh Efird had their moments on the WEtv show where some irritation showed, but Mama June fans had no idea that things had become so dire that a divorce was imminent. A few years ago, fans saw Pumpkin lock Josh out of the house, but most people thought that was drama for the show. 

Mama June: Family Crisis fans soon discovered that it didn’t take Pumpkin Efird or her husband, Josh Efird long to move on from each other. She’s already moved in with Darrin Kitchens. Meanwhile, Josh moved on with a girl named Keely. And now the divorce was granted, custody arrangements have been made public. 

How Will Custody Work For The Mama June Stars?

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported on the court’s decision on custody of Ella Grace the twins, and young Bentley. The decision was ruled on Monday this week, and the divorce was recognized as the formal dissolution of the marriage. 

When it comes to the kids, it seems quite amicable and the two WEtv stars will share custody, one week at a time with the kids. Additionally, they will spend time together with the kids on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Mama June fans also found out via the outlet, that when the kids are with Josh, it will be at the main house, to facilitate the kids’ sleeping arrangements.

The Ashley’s mentioned more details about the custody arrangements which they gleaned from court documents. The write-up noted:

In their parenting plan… Pumpkin and Josh agree to discuss and decide jointly on topics pertaining to their kids’ schooling, religion, medical and extra-circulars. However, should they not be able to come to an agreement on anything school- or medical-related, the judge ruled that Pumpkin is to have the “final say.”

Additionally, neither of the Mama June stars will pay child support. And, costs for the kids will be split evenly. As their joint income seems staggerlingly high for such a young couple, that shouldn’t mean too much hardship.
