General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest more steamy romances are needed in the land of Port Charles. It seems like the “same old, same old” when it comes to relationships and reunions, so the soap really needs to spice things up in the “love” department.

Here are three possible couples that could create some onscreen steam in the little town, come the fall.

GH Spoilers: Jordan Ashford & Jack Brennan #TeamJennan

GH spoilers hint that the show might be romantically aligning Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or possibly Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but what if they swerved a bit, and placed him in the orbit of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper)?

Jordan’s romantic life has become an afterthought in Port Charles. Her brains, beauty, investigative cunningness, and strength would be a perfect match for Brennan’s charm, handsome smile, and WSB knowledge.

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane & Jason Morgan #TeamJanna

If fans can get past the awkwardness of the idea – after all, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) once had something very special with Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) daughter, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) – then there’s a chance “Janna” could heat daytime screens everywhere.

Plus, with Anna recently pleading with Jason to exit the mob world for a “better life” could she be the one woman who successfully gets “Stone Cold” to turn away from his organized crime job?

GH Spoilers: Trina Robinson & Dex Heller #TeamTex

Unfortunately, there aren’t many romantic options in Port Charles for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) or even Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) for that matter.

While Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) debuted to add to the young adult scene on the show, he hasn’t made the impact that fans were looking for.

He’s a sweet guy, but there aren’t onscreen sparks for him and Trina; however, how juicy could a storyline get if Joss’s best friend and boyfriend started feeling sparks? Joss seems to have more chemistry with Gio than Joss, so maybe the soap can do a switch-up of sorts!

Everyone would love to see Sprina back in PC, but with Nicholas Chavez unavailable, it’s hard to say if a new Spencer Cassadine would have the same magic with Trina, as Chavez and Ali had.

Besides, the conflict between both Dex and Trina for “betraying” Joss, plus the potential meltdown she’d have would be good daytime drama.
