General Hospital Spoilers: Trina’s Turtle Dove Reminder, A Sign Of Spencer’s Return?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is doing her best to move forward with her life. Some days are easier than other, but Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) death is never far from her thoughts.

Spencer’s death came out of nowhere right after the two of them temporarily relocated to Paris. Trina and Spencer had finally declared their love for each other and were excitedly planning their future together.

But fate had other ideas and after a confrontation with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Spencer was presumed dead after going falling overboard on a cruise ship.

After Spencer disappeared and was presumed dead, Trina returned home. She’s taken some time off from college and for the longest time she couldn’t find even a shred of happiness.

But slowly over time, Trina has begun to move on. She still working at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gallery. She also had Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to lean on during this difficult time.

In fact, both Trina and Josslyn moved into an apartment of their own above the Quartermaine garage. During the move, a very special gift from Spencer was misplaced.

Before they even left for Paris, Spencer gave Trina a turtle dove figuring and he kept it’s match. During the move, Trina must have misplaced it so when Joss discovers it as they are unpacking, Trina will likely become distraught.

Just seeing a reminder of their love could bring all those feelings rushing back. Josslyn will be there to assure Trina that her pain will never go away, but it fade in time. For now, Trina will see the turtle dove as a reminder of love lost.

But could there be a deeper meaning to the turtle dove resurfacing? Perhaps Spencer isn’t dead after all and he’s sending her a sign. Spencer isn’t likely coming back anytime soon, but a body was never found so he could potentially return someday.

In addition, Spencer’s figuring made it to shore which could also be a sign that Spencer did as well. There are number of explanations why Spencer hasn’t returned home, but that doesn’t mean he won’t sometime down the line.
