DOOL fans know how much the soap opera loves dabbling in the afterworld. “Ghosts” of characters long past have paid visits now and again, and at times, they’ve been able to protect the ones they love or stop villains in their tracks.
Of course, Victor Kiriakis has died, and as the character’s portrayer, late and legendary soap icon John Aniston has passed away as well, it may be challenging for writers to develop a storyline where Victor could “save the day” for Maggie; however, it wouldn’t be impossible and might also be a way to further honor the powerful impact Victor had in Salem.
DOOL Spoilers: Victor’s “Ghost” Somehow Stops The Wedding
During a recent storyline where Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was on the verge of death, she and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) were visited by an angel, Lexi Carver. Actress Renée Jones originally was in the role until Lexi passed, playing the part from 1993 to 2012. While Ms. Jones is very much alive, it seems she may not be interested in returning to the show, even for a brief appearance, so during Lexi’s “return,” her face was simply not shown. Abe ended up getting his memory back, and Paulina was cured of her heart condition. The storyline was nicely wrapped up, thanks to Lexi’s visit!
Could Days do the same thing when it comes to Victor? While fans are counting on Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to swing in for the save, wouldn’t it be interesting if Konstantin’s number one nemesis helped Maggie out from beyond the grave?
