Nicole does have a background in investigative journalism. So, could Nicole get a job at The Spectator? Nicole could investigate the drug crisis or even Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) frame job. Both would lead right to Nicole’s husband, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)!
EJ DiMera’s Press Conference
DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ held a press conference to announce Tate Black (Leo Howard) is innocent in Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) overdose. However, EJ’s apology was rather vague and flaky.
EJ didn’t even really take responsibility. EJ also didn’t tell anyone about the press conference. Even EJ’s own wife wasn’t aware of it until it was almost over. Then, when Nicole confronted EJ, the devious district attorney brushed it off like it was no big deal.
DOOL Spoilers: Xander Cook’s Frame Job
After EJ’s press conference, he tried to slip away and avoid answering questions from the press. However, EJ wasn’t able to get away from Chad and Xander.
Then, a bombshell played out right there in Horton Town Square. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) showed up, leaving EJ, Nicole, Chad, and Xander all feeling completely blindsided.
Nicole Walker-DiMera’s Newspaper Career
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Nicole does have a history in investigative journalism. Even after Nicole went into a different field, she still remembered how to sleuth. In fact, Nicole helped blow the lid on a stolen baby case, as fans might recall.
Nicole might decide that she’s going to do her part in fighting drugs in Salem.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ DiMera Exposed?
Perhaps Nicole will ask for a job at The Spectator as a way to find out who supplied drugs to Holly. Nicole might also investigate Xander’s claim that he was framed.
All three of those… the overdose, Stefan’s release, and Xander’s frame job could all lead to Nicole finding a new passion and career. It might also lead to Nicole exposing the truth about her own husband!
With EJ so desperate and about to be exposed, he could make a deal with Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty). After all, Sloan is getting pretty desperate, too.
When you think about it, EJ and Sloan would both have a reason to keep Nicole in the dark about Jude Brady. So, it seems these two are slated to scheme together and perhaps more!
