Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole’s Expose On Paulina Backfires For EJ – Johnny Disowns DiMera Family
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that EJ DiMera (Dan Feueriegel) has baited Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) to become a pawn in his power-hungry game of revenge.
He got a piece of his boss’s mind recently when Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) had more than a few words with him about his terrible work as the town’s district attorney.
Now he’s looking for vengeance, and somehow he’s convinced his wife to write/pitch an expose on Paulina and how she placed lives at risk by leaving her radiation treatment procedure to “save” her daughter Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens).
Will this plan end up biting EJ in the butt?
Days Spoilers: Chanel DiMera’s Health Will Deteriorate
DOOL spoilers for the week of April 29-May 3 indicate that Chanel will be stricken with an unknown illness. As of this writing, it is unclear if Chanel’s recent symptoms have anything to do with the radiation exposure she suffered when her mom helped rescue her during the Salem snowstorm that tore through the town, as well as Smith Island, where the Horton Cabin is located.
The good news is that Paulina found Chanel when no one else could; however, the bad news is that her daughter was exposed to quite a bit of radiation.
Regardless, EJ pushed Nicole to pitch a story now that she’s working at the Spectator. Of course, he’s looking for revenge and possibly to oust Paulina out of the mayor’s office so he can have that job himself.
This would allow him the power to do anything he likes, without facing repercussions, but, how will Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) feel once the article hits newsstands?
DOOL Spoilers: Johnny DiMera Becomes Upset With Both His Dad & His Uncle
Johnny is married to Chanel, and as she’ll be struggling with an unknown illness, he may hit the roof if the expose is published during this trying time.
He’s not only dealing with a sick wife, but Chanel’s family has had a rollercoaster ride as of late. Her mom is just recovering from cancer, while her stepdad Abe Carver (James Reynolds) just regained his memory after months of amnesia.
The last thing Johnny’s inlaws need now is an article that could turn the residents of Salem against them. Plus, the last thing Johnny needs to deal with is unneeded drama, when he has to focus on his wife.
Will the entire incident have him turning his back on his DiMera family? He’ll be upset at his dad for pushing the idea of the article, and he may be very upset at his Uncle Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) for giving his stamp of approval to let it be published.
He also may be mad at stepmom Nicole for using her newfound influence with the paper to pitch it.
