As Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to make a deal with Jordan to release Harrison and Claire, elsewhere, Kyle makes a shocking discovery.
Both the Abbott and the Newman security teams had searched everywhere for them, but Kyle thinks of one more place on the property to look they didn’t think to.
There’s an old gardening shed not far from where the flower delivery truck would have parked which they now know Jordan commandeered; it hasn’t been used for years.
Kyle used to hide in it as a child until they locked it up, because it was old and dilapidated and probably not safe. Kyle notes there’s no lock on the shed, and there’s Claire under some tarps, bruised and unconscious-he calls Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) right away.
Y & R Spoilers: A Strong Smell Of Chloroform Still On Her Face
No one is sure whether Jordan beat Claire and caused the bruises and stashed her there, or whether she tried to get back to the mansion and couldn’t.
The shed was locked at one time, but with no one using it or ever going there, no one’s sure what took place. There is, however, still a strong smell of chloroform on Claire’s face and that explains how Jordan got away with Harrison and likely Claire, stealing her phone.
Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) suspect Claire was dumped out of the van, and possibly hid in the shed trying to make it to the mansion. She’d have never left Harrison with Jordan if she could have helped it!

Kyle also calls his father to tell him about Claire, and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) notified as well-Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) calls police who arrive at the scene.
In the meantime, Cole and Victoria reminisce about their past as Claire’s unconscious in the hospital, not wanting to lose their baby girl again. Victor reveals his new plan of attack against Jordan, and a rescue plan for Nikki, who went rogue!
Claire has a head injury and it may take several days before doctors know if she’ll come out of the coma she slipped into. The Newmans and Abbotts deal with the devastating news that apparently, Jordan took Harrison as Claire’s replacement “child” and plans to indoctrinate him the way she did Claire!
