Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) has it in for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and plans to use his red card of doom to bring him down.
He knows that John was once “The Pawn” and he plans to use his knowledge of the past to get the upper hand on his nemesis. To this end, Ellie Patrikios has joined the show as Catharina, a key player in this storyline.

Fans will hear Konstantin reveal a shocking story that ties Catharina to John’s history and a deadly message delivered in the past.
It may be that John was connected to Catharina’s demise during the time he was under mind control. At any rate, explosive show spoilers tease that Catharina has a part to play in the upcoming drama.
What we do know is that Ellie Patrikios will appear in faux flashbacks involving Catharina in Greece. This should shed some light on what Konstantin is hiding, and how he ties into John’s past.

Patrikios is an accomplished bilingual Greek and British actress. Her credits include Snowfall, Black Pumpkin, and Not So Happily Ever After. Because she speaks the Greek language fluently, we will probably get a chance to hear her speak and add authenticity to the plot.
John has no idea how Catharina ties into his past and his old pal Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is not happy to help him investigate because when John was brainwashed he was not a pleasant person.
Unfortunately for John and Steve, Konstantin has the power to turn John back into “The Pawn” by using that red card he has. This looks like John may be used once again as an instrument of destruction, and upend Jarlena’s happy life.

Look for John to ask Steve for information, but Steve hesitates about revealing too much to his friend, for his own good. At the same time, Steve wants to eliminate Konstantin to neutralize his threat. Sadly, his plan will not go well and in the end ends up causing more trouble.

Ellie Patrikios debuts as Catharina during the week of February 5-9 and her appearance puts in play the next part of John’s storyline!
