General Hospital Spoilers: Will GH Try And Sweep Michael’s Prison Plot For Sonny Under The Rug?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) SEC secret is officially out, and sadly, her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and daughter Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is at risk.
Still, while it’s nice that has been revealed, what about Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) prison plot secret, where he spent months trying to throw his father under the bus? Will that be swept under the rug?
GH Spoilers: Many Storylines Are Being Forgotten Since The Writer’s Strike Wrapped Up
GH spoilers note that the writers had an interesting opportunity when Michael learned about Nina’s SEC secret. This would’ve been for her to find out about Micheal’s plan and how he hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to become a mole in the mob boss’s organization to gather evidence and send him to prison.
There were months and months that Michael sought the chance to nail his dad to the wall and feed him to the feds. His hate-on for Sonny hit massive heights. Still, since the writer’s strike wrapped up, so did a number of storylines that were forming.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) doesn’t seem to have as many scenes with Sonny anymore as the two looked like they were headed to have a closer friendship and possible romance; this seems to be “over”.
Then there was the Pikeman arc that finished up fast; in fact, if you blinked, you might have missed John Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) fantastic performances.
GH Spoilers: There’s Still Time, Right?
While most fans can agree, that it’s great that Nina’s SEC secret is out, and she certainly does deserve to face some sort of wrath, what she did pales in comparison to what Michael did.
First off, she hated Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and they are known enemies, while Michael is Sonny’s son. While Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) ended up paying the biggest price when all was said and done, that was of his own accord. He threw himself under the bus and faced the consequences.
Still, Nina believed it was Carly who was going to get nailed to the wall, so technically she shouldn’t feel guilty about anything that happened to Drew.
Lastly, and most importantly, Darly did commit a crime. While allowing Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to take the fall was probably the biggest misdeed she made.
There’s still time for the truth to come out, and sometimes the best reveals are from the secrets that take years to surface. So, fans will have to wait and see!
