The teen girl seemingly has been looking up to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) as of late, and in a recent episode, she donned the Cassadine matriarch’s necklace, which Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left to her in his will.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) ended up pulling the plug on the video before it ended, which has always added to speculation about what Helena was about to reveal.
As Charlotte has a newfound fascination with her grandmother, this might be the perfect opportunity to dive back into this angle and get some answers to some longtime questions that have lingered.

Charlotte could stumble on the videotape in several ways. Perhaps it is in an old box with Helena or Victor’s things; then again, it could be purposely sent to her, or she already has it; with all the moving Charlotte’s done in the past year, she’s yet to look through an old box until now.
Regardless, seeing her grandmother in the video may strongly affect Charlotte; especially if Helena is talking about a “final” mission.
Knowing her grandmother was unable to complete her last wishes before her passing, Charlotte may believe it’s her “Cassadine duty” to carry out Helena’s plan.
Charlotte is clearly headed down a villainess path, and her next storyline might be the key to all this. Carrying on Helena’s legacy will likely be one of Charlotte’s top priorities, and while she’s already done a ton of terrible things, it’ll be interesting to see just how far she spirals and how dark her character will get.
