The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a recent social media post by Rory Gibson (Noah Newman) indicates his return to the number one rated daytime drama.

Gibson’s Instagram story dropped a photo of the CBS studio and a tease about his return to the show.

Why is Noah coming back to Genoa City, Wisconsin now? Both of his parents are in front burner plots, so there’s that. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is starting a new business and has a new man in her life, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd).

But it’s his dad who is having the major dramarama. Mere months after he was nearly killed in a savage sewer faceoff with a madman, Nick Newman was just nearly killed in a lake house in Oregon. Given the busy state of both of his parents’ lives, it’s a no-brainer that their son would want to come home and check in on them.

There’s no official word on how long Noah stays in town, but his visit is sure to be packed with emotion. This month Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) kidnapped the Newman family resulting in drugging and knifing and forced alcohol intake. Jordan is on the run and still taunting Nikki.

Once Noah finds out what Nikki, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were subjected to, he will want to be by their side as they try to recover.

And he will no doubt be blown away by the fact that Claire Grace is the daughter of Victoria and her ex Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). The family is taking sides here, with Victoria desperate to help Claire and the others despising the girl who tried to kill them.

The last we heard Noah is focused on his London nightclub while GF Allie Nyguen (Kelsey Wang) works at the Jabot lab in Paris. Ae they still together? We’re about to find out!
